2017 Student Portfolio Review – What’s Happening

This year Salt Lake Community College will host the AIGA Annual Student Portfolio Review, Saturday, April 15th, 2017. We welcome students from colleges and universities from across Utah. AIGA is honored to have design professionals from Utah to review portfolios this year.


STUDENTS WITH PORTFOLIOS REGISTRATION:
Students need to register on the AIGA SLC website:

Student AIGA Member $20 / Student Non-Member $40
All students showing portfolios must register BEFORE THURSDAY, April 13th
***Please note we will not be taking registration at the door.


OBSERVER (not showing portfolio) REGISTRATION:
We are encouraging sophomores and juniors to attend and observe the portfolio review.

Saturday, April 15th Salt Lake Community College – South City Campus

Salt Lake Community College – South City Campus Parking is free and available on the east side of campus Enter through the south east door or south west door.

12:30pm – 1:15pm STUDENT CHECK-IN & One-to-One Reviews Sign-up
One-to-One has limited spots, first to arrive have priority until filled. NO One-to-One sign-up before event.

12:45pm Reviewers Check-in, Networking & refreshments

1:45pm Welcome from Arlo Vance, AIGA President

2:00pm – 5:45pm OPEN REVIEW (open for all student portfolios)

2:00pm – 4:30pm ONE-to-ONE 20 minute REVIEWS (limited availability, students may have a maximum of two One-to-One Reviews)

PORTFOLIOS:
Students will have room for a printed portfolio (approx. 11” x 17”), resume and business card. Tablets are also welcome.

UX/UI & MOTION GRAPHIC PORTFOLIOS:
We will have a specific area for students needing to set up a laptop. Power will be limited, however we will have two additional charging station areas.
